URL Rewriting part 3
I think this is part 3, but i dont care. in a post on my main blog
here about running Wordpress on IIS
i mentioned an ISAPI addon for IIS that did URL rewriting like mod_rewrite on apache. Well, its called
ISAPI Rewrite
and it may come in handy for some of you. i know it came in handy for me for my blog, which now runs happily on IIS under win2k3 server, and i will be using it in other projects soon too.
Want a cool Desktop blog poster?
I was going to write one of these, but then i found
WBloggar
and though "why reinvent the wheel?" this thing is cool. V4 has been released reciently, and im now posting from it on my desktop. check it out. very cool!

Load testing ASP.NET apps with Ants
This article over at code project
has some info on how to use Ants to do load testing of ASP.NET applications, both web pages and Web Services. Very cool. only one problem. Ants wont talk to Windows Security so all the pages i want to test wont actually work becasue im getting 401 errors. anyone know one that will work? Leave a comment if you do!

Some sharepoint programming links
Ok. I went looking for some code and links on how to program and customize sharepoint cause i was asked to over the last few days. So, i found these links.
Customizing SharePoint Sites and Portals: Part 1
,
part 2
and
part 3
, all from the
MSDN
. these is also
this 15 seconds article about customizing sharepoint webparts with custom properties
. Mark Bower has
this article on how to customize the drop down menus in SharePoint
. Then we have
Lamont Harringtons SharePoint 2003 Resource Center
which has a shed load of links to different articles, books, whitepapers, resources and a lot more! if you cant find what your looking for there, there must be something wrong. Hope this helps!
One post per day? Hmmm. i will do my best...
Paschal is
asking us
(the guys with
blogs on developers.ie
) to post at least 1 post per day. this is hard for me. not because i dont have anything to post, but because i have too much! :) i have my
Link blog
, which i post little things to here and there, and then theres my
main blog
where i post other things to. unfortunitly, with the 2 of them, i have a limited time to post other things to other blogs, like this one. anyway, i will do my best. i will try post some code tomorrow, or links. actually i have links now that i will post in a few minuites.
