I installed SQLServer 2005 and Visual Studio .NET 2005 on my laptop last night. I started at around 9.00pm and figured I'd give it the evening to get finished, then I'd get something to eat and go to bed....
The software had other ideas!
I finally got everything installed and work at 1am. Needless to say, I was wrecked so I went straight to bed. I missed food and I was late getting up this morning so I missed breakfast as well. I'm starved!!
Oh by the way, the laptop is a 3.06GHz processor, 512Mb RAM machine so it really must take four hours to install the 2005 suite!
